Do you want to make your own dog drink at home?

The recipe is perfect for Friday fun, a party, or whenever you want to give your dog something extra special.

Friday fun isn't just for us humans. Many people like to do something extra for their dog when the weekend starts, and a dog-friendly drink is perfect for that. Chikken Colada is a fun and simple Friday drink that looks festive, tastes good, and can be made from ingredients that dogs can eat in small quantities.

This drink contains coconut, strawberries, and a little chicken, which gives both flavor and a nice color in the glass. The result is a two-layered drink that looks really luxurious but is still easy to make at home.

Can dogs drink these kinds of drinks?

Yes, if you use the right ingredients.
This recipe only uses things that dogs can eat in small amounts.

Coconut milk can be given occasionally and in smaller portions. It contains fat and should therefore not be given in large quantities, but works well as a flavor enhancer.
Strawberries are safe for dogs and contain vitamins and fiber, but since they contain natural sugar, they should be given in moderation.
Chicken is an easily digestible protein suitable for most dogs, as long as it's cooked without salt and spices.

Always avoid ingredients like onion, garlic, xylitol, or seasoned food when making something for your dog.

Perfect for Friday fun with your dog

Chikken Colada is perfect when you want something nice yourself and at the same time let your dog have something of their own.
Serve in small glasses, top with a little coconut and decorate with a chew stick for a real Friday drink for dogs.

You can also make several portions and put them in the fridge, or freeze them in molds if you want to make ice cream instead.

Making these simple recipes at home is a fun way to engage your dog and at the same time control what they consume.
